Five questions on the economics of a docking project

Three minutes, from memory, answered by whoever runs the yard. The page does not ask for a single figure and does not judge your prices. It names, seam by seam, where the money of a docking is held by someone with a name — and where it is not.

How to read it

A docking earns or loses its margin in five places: the price you give, the work that opens up after gauging, the quantities and hours your subcontractors claim, the moment an overrun becomes visible, and the evidence you defend the final invoice with.

Each question asks one thing only: who holds that seam, and on what basis. "Don't know" is an answer in its own right — a seam nobody can describe is not held.
